Context

The design makes room for difference while providing clear cues for the next step. Content, search and navigation follow the same understandable order.

Content model

At the beginning of Common Ground, goals, existing material and the most important user journeys were structured together. The result was not an abstract concept but a testable set of priorities for editorial work, design and technical delivery.

Design and technology

The content model keeps recurring elements deliberately bounded and connects them through clear relationships. Editorial teams can add material without making new layout decisions for every page or depending on technical support.

Process

From concept to operation

Typography, media and interaction were treated as one coherent orientation system. Responsive behaviour, keyboard access, alternative text and understandable states were tested during implementation rather than added at the end.

    Publish

Static delivery reduces moving parts in public operation. Preview, build and live remain separate so changes can be reviewed editorially and technically before the same traceable release becomes public.

    Keep learning

The case records important decisions and remaining limits as well as the outcome. This keeps Common Ground useful as learning material for future content, extensions and quality reviews.
